Is this dictionary right for you?
The Casio XD-A6600 is a 2010 model Casio dictionary- meaning the handwritten kanji recognition function is excellent, the menus navigation is smooth, and the screen is beautiful. It doesn't have all the dictionary muscle of the much more expensive XD-A9800 and XD-A1000, but it is enough for most students of Japanese or non-specialist translators. (Alternatively- the Japanese dictionary content is equal to the XD-A9800 and XD-A10000 - so any professional translators able to use Japanese to Japanese dictionaries will find this more than adequate and a great bargain price-wise.)
For more details see the XD-A6600 on the Casio Japan website.
